Emily Bauer is an associate attorney at Cage Lewis Weiman, LLC, where she focuses her practice primarily on family law.
Since being admitted to the Colorado Bar, Emily has represented clients in a broad range of family law matters, including common law marriage, paternity actions, dissolution of marriage, allocation of parental responsibilities, and post-decree modifications. She has handled cases across Colorado, including Denver, Boulder, Arapahoe, Weld, Larimer, Routt, Eagle, Chaffee, Pitkin, and Saguache counties. In addition to her practice, Emily serves on the Executive Council of the Colorado Bar Association Family Law Section.

Emily earned her bachelor’s degree from Truman State University before relocating to Colorado to attend the University of Colorado Law School, where she received her Juris Doctor and a Certificate in Juvenile and Family Law. During law school, she gained practical experience through internships with the Colorado Governor’s Office of Legal Counsel, Colorado Legal Services, and the Office of the Child’s Representative. She also represented children through the Juvenile and Family Law Clinic in matters involving dependency and neglect, immigration, and juvenile delinquency. These experiences laid the foundation for her commitment to family law and continue to inform her compassionate, client-centered approach to helping individuals and families navigate complex legal challenges.
